The Applications and Distinctions of Three Different Material Collection Plates in Wet Electrostatic Precipitator

Particle back-corona slows the efficiency of dry-electrostatic precipitator (dry-ESP), especially during removal high resistivity particles. In this study, a new type wet-electrostatic (wet-ESP) was designed and built using stainless steel (SS), conductive glass (CG), original (OG) for its collection plates. The objectives research included characteristics both dry-ESP wet-ESP, how materials used in dust collectors affect ESP performance including SS, CG, OG, effects on electric particle performance, ozone generation rates wet-ESP. experiment results indicated that wet-ESP could improve dust-cake phenomenon caused by electrical particles often occurred order to prolong efficiency. Furthermore, most penetrating size (MPPS) penetration SSESP CGESP were below 6% while OGESP over 40% under dry condition. When placed operated wet condition, dropped 20% MPPS. confirmed compared dry-ESP, performed at higher better addition, as concentration acts corona current same voltage, result found lower than setting.
